Overview of the Basic Elements

The sky consists of fixed stars and moving bodies. The backdrop of fixed stars is called the zodiac, divided into Nakshatras. Moving celestial bodies are called Grahas (planets).

Grahas (Planets)

  • Surya (Sun): Represents the soul, vitality, ego, and leadership.
  • Chandra (Moon): Symbolizes mind, emotions, intuition, and nurturing.
  • Mangal (Mars): Associated with energy, courage, action, and aggression.
